The Early Printery of Lanna

:
Abstract

The objective of this academic article is to present the basic information of
history of printing in Lanna including the origin of printing, printing house in Siam and
Lanna as well as the early publication of Lanna alphabet. The article also indicates the
development of Lanna printing influenced by the American missionary playing an
important role in educational development and printing of Lanna people.
